Yvette Johnson is a master stylist with our salon. She was born in Chicago and attended the Pivot Point Beauty School there. She has taken extensive advanced courses there as well. Yvette has been doing hair for over 30 years as well as participating in platform work and hair shows. Her work has been featured on MTV/Viacom and billboards. She has a great passion and interest for hair. Yvette says, “I played with my Barbie and Cher dolls for too long,” and because of that she now has such passion and drive to help discover their New Canvas, and helping look and feel better than when they started. Outside of work Yvette busies herself with travel, book reading, shopping and spending quality time with friends and family. She also does community service for Locks of Love Hair-a-Thon in Chicago, Food not Bombs in Las Vegas, and Dress for Success in Dallas, Texas.
